Channeling has been an enigma throughout the ages as it has been used by many who are considered as prophets and seers. Nostradamus, through his writings, channeled the quatrains which are now being used to predict the future. Edgar Cayce channeled as the "Sleeping Prophet", bringing forward information of Universal proportion as related to healing and healing methods, soul journeys, astrological information and much more. Many others throughout history have Channeled as well.

Channeling is a when a person is acting as a medium, or vehicle, to bring through him or herself various aspects of other-dimensional beings, conveying information from them.

This is done by a range of methods. Some people, who Channel, do so in the form of automatic writing, toning, writing music or various other forms of creating, while others bring the information through themselves, speaking the words that are given at the time as a trance medium.

There are also different depths of trance medium Channeling. Some people are fairly "present" while they are Channeling, remembering what has been said. Others are limited in their recall, but still aware of the messages while others, known as deep trance mediums have no recall whatsoever of what is given.

Edgar Cayce was a deep trance medium, also known as the "Sleeping Prophet" as he appeared to be asleep while he spoke the messages that came through him. He had no memory of what he had said. Much in the same way, Meg does not remember what the messages are, although she does not appear to be "asleep" when she is Channeling. At the time she is Channeling, she is in an altered state of consciousness.

The process of deep trance medium-ship is a matter of the vehicle, or person who is doing the Channeling, to "step aside" from them self, separating their conscious self from the physical self, allowing the body to be utilized for other worldly information to come through. This is generally done intentionally. By removing the conscious self from the third dimensional self, one has become a clear vessel for the information to come through.

Those who Channel within the light  are bringing in aspects of information and perceptions of being that are contributed by beings in other realms or dimensions who wish to contribute to our journey toward remembering who and what we are as eternal beings. This can come in the form of an individual who comes through to speak, or as those of a group mind, or the Universal mind who come forth as "specialists" who bring information from a higher, Universal perspective, often close to the Source.

A note about safety and clarity: Anyone who is Channeling or attempting to Channel should always check the source of the information that they are receiving, as there are those "out there" who will at times give erroneous information that would easily fool most novices and even some seasoned Channelers. Each source should always be asked if they are of the light from the light and within the light. If they are not, then they must be commanded to leave. With such a command, any being that is not of the light may not stay present.

At no time should a Channeler interject his or her own thoughts or ideas to any message that is given. This dilutes the purity of the messages and also limits the height of the information that is available, as one has not removed him or herself to allow that which is of the greatest and highest source for the highest and best good of the Channeler and all others.

One must always remember to use discernment regarding any information they receive via a Channeling as to whether this information applies to what is known and determined to be truth in one's own reality.
